“So I stocked my pantry with lots of non-perishable foods, now what do I make with it?”

This is something I’ve heard a lot lately, so I thought I would put together a list of easy gluten-free recipes that use many of the pantry staples that you have on hand right now. We are keeping it simple, quick, and delicious. During these uncertain times, we don’t need to add any more stress to our lives, so we’re going to get creative, and have some fun in the kitchen!

All of these recipes are packed with nutrients and made with simple, affordable ingredients. You will find everything from breakfast, lunch, snacks, hearty dinners, and even vegetarian options.

As always, feel free to swap out ingredients with things you have. You can use a different vegetable or grain, add more veggies, or swap the meat for a vegetarian protein. The options are endless!

Pantry Staples

Here are a few pantry staples that I’m stocking up on right now to make my time in the kitchen simple and enjoyable.

  • rice, millet, quinoa (or any other GF grain)
  • beans and legumes (canned or dried)
  • nuts and seeds
  • pasta
  • bread/wraps
  • GF all-purpose flour
  • oats
  • dates
  • canned tuna or chicken
  • nut butters
  • tomato sauce
  • chicken or vegetable broth
  • oils (olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, etc.)
  • canned coconut milk
  • lots of dried herbs and spices
  • boxed non-dairy milks

Fridge & Freezer Staples

Here are a few things I’m putting in my freezer and fridge to have on hand.

  • eggs
  • chicken
  • ground turkey
  • frozen veggie burgers
  • lots of frozen vegetables
  • lots of frozen fruit
  • non-dairy yogurt
  • all condiments
  • fruits and veg that last a bit longer in the fridge – apples, oranges, butternut squash, broccoli, brussels sprouts, carrots, onions
