Healthy Homemade Gummies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fruit juice (I used apple and blueberry, no added sugar)
  • 1.5 tbsp beef gelatin (I used NOW Foods brand)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Pour your desired flavor of juice into a small sauce pot over medium heat. Cover it with a lid and let it come up to a simmer (not quite a full boil).
  • Once the juice is simmering, add the gelatin and whisk continuously until it is completely dissolved. Then, if using, add the honey and whisk to combine. Remove from the heat and gently pour the mixture into a silicone mold. You can use fun shaped gummy molds, or larger square shaped ones. You can also just pour it into a container with sides if you don't have molds. You will just cut the molds yourself once they are firmed up. 
  • Carefully place the molds in the fridge for at least 2 hours so they can form a gel. 
  • Remove them from the molds (or cut them if you used a larger container), and enjoy!
