Roasted Figs with Goat Cheese, Walnuts & Honey

These Roasted Figs with Goat Cheese, Walnuts & Honey will make the perfect appetizer that your guests will love! Sweet figs go perfectly with tangy goat cheese, crunchy walnuts, and sweet honey drizzle.

Ingredients
  

  • 10-12 fresh figs
  • 1/4 cup walnuts , roughly chopped
  • 1-2 oz goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the broiler on high. Cut the stems off of the figs and then cut them in half or quarters.
  • Lay the figs on a small baking sheet, and place them close together. Crumble the goat cheese evenly over the top.
  • Broil for 5-7 minutes, until the figs are soft and the goat cheese just starts to brown slightly. 
  • When you remove them from the oven, let them cool for 1-2 minutes and sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the top. Sprinkle a tiny pinch of salt and drizzle with honey.
