Exercise For More Energy

exercise for more energy

We all know that exercise is good for us in SO many different ways, but did you also know that it can help with fatigue and raise your energy levels? It is just another reason to get moving!

Endorphins

Exercise acts directly on the central nervous system to raise energy levels and fight fatigue. Every time you exercise, your body releases endorphins because you are are doing something that requires a burst of energy, and the more you exercise, the more you increase those endorphin levels. This is exactly why sedentary people have lower energy levels and feel tired and sluggish all the time.

Blood Flow

Moving more also enhances blood flow, which will help carry oxygen and nutrients to your muscle tissue and will make your body more efficient at producing energy. When your cardiovascular health is good, your endurance throughout the day will be higher, which makes every day activities much easier.

The Brain

Have you ever felt more mentally sharp and ready to tackle the day after a really great workout? I know I have, and it is proven that exercise keeps your brain healthy and sharp by simply boosting those endorphin levels. When we can think clearly and can be more efficient during the day, our mood is better.

Get moving

So get up and start moving more, it doesn’t matter what you do, just do something you love! It can be anything from going for a run, taking a spin class, lifting weights, or simply chasing your kids around the backyard. Just move your body and you will quickly see the benefits.
