3-Ingredient Blueberry Banana Coconut Smoothie
It’s Friday!!
Are you guys excited for the weekend! I sure am. I’m trying to savor every weekend that I have left with my husband this summer. Fall camp starts for the football team in the beginning of August, and once that starts, I basically don’t have much of a husband until football season is over. I know every other football wife out there is nodding her head and saying ‘amen!’ right now.
But anyway, on to today’s recipe. I’ve got a really simple summer fruit smoothie for you. It is light, refreshing, and perfect for a hot summer day. I drink some type of smoothie or protein shake almost every day. It’s a really great way to pack an insane amount of nutrients into one glass. And because I do cardio and strength training on most days of the week, I normally include protein powder to help refuel my body. But today, I went ahead and left it out because I was just in the mood for a light morning snack on the go. It is packed with fruit and healthy fats from the coconut milk. And with only 3 ingredients, it is quick, easy, naturally sweet, and deeee-licious.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 small-medium sized banana
- 1/2 canned light coconut milk
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender, pour into a glass, add a pretty straw and enjoy!
